How to play Go Fish?

2+ players, 52-card deck. Deal 7 cards each (2–3 players); the rest face down as the pond. Goal: make books (four of a kind). On your turn, ask any player for a rank you hold (“Got any sixes?”). If they have it, they give all of that rank; show each catch and keep asking. If not, they say “Go fish,” and you draw one; if it isn’t that rank, your turn ends. When you complete a book, lay the four cards face up and take another turn. If you run out of cards, draw on your turn; if the pond is empty, you’re out. Game ends when all 13 books are made; most books wins.
